✨ Finally Witnessed The Legend – Mariah Carey: Celebration of Mimi Manila 🎤

Some moments feel like they were meant to stay only in dreams — and watching Mariah Carey live was one of those for me. But last October 14, together with Patty, I finally got to experience her Celebration of Mimi tour right here at SM MOA Arena! 🦋
 
It’s hard to put into words how surreal this night felt. I still remember her very first concert in Manila, held way back in BGC. Back then, my family and I were renting a place in South Cembo, Makati — and even from our home, we could clearly hear her iconic voice echoing through the neighborhood. I never thought that years later, I wouldn’t just hear her from a distance… I’d be sitting right there, watching her shine on stage, feeling every note live. That full-circle feeling? Absolutely priceless. 🥹
 
Mariah was everything we hoped for — her legendary whistle notes, the timeless hits, and that warm, powerful presence that only she can bring. Singing along to Hero, Always Be My Baby, and We Belong Together with thousands of other fans was pure magic.
 
🍽️ Post-Concert Feast: Wolcha Galbi Korean BBQ Buffet
 
After the show, our energy was still high — so we headed straight for Wolcha Galbi for a well-deserved feast! 🥩
 
✅ The Vibe: Modern, spacious, perfect for groups after a long night out.
✅ The Food: Their marinated beef short ribs (galbi) were tender, juicy, and packed with rich savory flavor — easily the star of the spread! The pork belly, fresh side dishes, and unlimited egg stew were all excellent too.
✅ Service: Staff were quick to refill meats and clear tables, even when the place was packed.
✅ Verdict: Great value, tasty options, and exactly what we needed to cap off the night.
 
 
 
🏨 Staycation: Shore 2 Residences
 
We decided to make it a full night out and booked a short stay at Shore 2 Residences nearby.
 
✅ Location: Super convenient — just minutes away from MOA Arena, perfect if you don’t want a long commute after late events.
✅ Space & Comfort: The unit was clean, cozy, and well-kept — enough room for two to rest comfortably. The bed was soft, and everything we needed was provided.
✅ Perks: Nice views of the city and the complex, plus easy access to shops and dining spots.
✅ Verdict: Solid, hassle-free choice for quick concert or mall trips.
 
From hearing her voice across the neighborhood to seeing her rule the stage — this night will always be one of my most unforgettable memories. Grateful for the music, the moment, and great company! 🤍
