Day 6 - Da Nang Travel Diary: Hoi An Nights Boat rides, night markets, and a whole lotta lanterns! Day 6 in Da Nang took us to the enchanting town of Hoi An, and let me tell you, it's a vibe! First up: the iconic lantern boat ride. Huge thanks to @Klook for making it super easy to redeem our tickets (iced tea included!). Ran into some awesome Filipino travelers too! The boat ride itself was magical The river was lit up with thousands of lanterns, creating the most incredible view. Each lantern symbolizes good fortune and happiness, which is such a beautiful tradition. But TBH, it felt a little too touristy. I was hoping for a more authentic experience, but it was still a sight to see! Sometimes you just gotta embrace the touristy moments, right? After the boat ride, we hit up the night market. So. Many. People! We grabbed some ice cream and soaked in the atmosphere, but it was a bit overwhelming. Felt like everything was geared towards tourists, which was a bit of a bummer. O...

Day 6 of our Da Nang adventure took us to the charming town of Hoi An, a place known for its tailor shops, ancient architecture, and, of course, its magical lantern-lit nights. Today’s highlight? A lantern boat ride and a stroll through the bustling night market. We kicked things off at 6 PM, heading straight to the Klook stall to redeem our tickets for the lantern boat ride. Let me tell you, Klook has been a lifesaver on this trip! They greeted us with complimentary iced tea and the iconic paper lanterns we’d be setting afloat.
