I ❤️ Dumaguete 2025 - Day 2 - Forrest Camp - 02/10/2025
Okay, so after that incredible lunch at Ati Gigi's (you have to read about that!), we were feeling refreshed and ready for our next adventure: Forest Camp. Let me tell you, this place is HUGE. I'm talking seven pools, lush greenery everywhere, and an atmosphere that felt straight out of a fairy tale.
Seriously, the whole place is incredibly aesthetically pleasing. Think cascading pools, thick, vibrant greenery, and this magical, almost enchanted feeling. It's like stepping into a different world. The pools themselves are wonderfully cool – a perfect way to cool down after all our previous adventures.
We could have easily spent the entire day there, but we were starting to feel a little tired from all the activities we'd packed into our Dumaguete trip. Forest Camp has so many pools and swimming areas that choosing where to go was a bit of a challenge! But we eventually found a pool with no other visitors, which made for a wonderfully private and relaxing experience.
Since we were a bit weary, we decided to focus on some "gandagandahan" – striking beautiful poses for photos and TikTok videos. My ever-supportive travel buddies were amazing at helping me channel my inner America's Next Top Model!
Our tour guide had suggested we visit a museum afterward, but after checking out our TikTok videos, we decided Forest Camp was the perfect place to end our Dumaguete and Valencia tour. It was a relaxing way to wind down, even though there was a 100-peso entrance fee.
We didn't actually do a lot of swimming; we mainly just relaxed in the cool water, letting our muscles unwind after all the exploring. After a relaxing hour or so, we headed back to our hotel, feeling completely refreshed and rejuvenated after our Dumaguete adventure. It was the perfect ending to a fantastic trip!
