Siquijor Travel Blog: Kawayan Holiday Resort 2025 - Worth the Wait!
 
Okay, so after our amazing time at BuCafe (seriously, go there!), we spent about two hours just chilling, soaking up the incredible view and stuffing ourselves with delicious food. Completely satisfied, we headed straight to Kawayan Holiday Resort.
 
Now, I mentioned in an earlier post that we booked our visit to Kawayan early in the morning. Why? Because the line to get that Instagram-worthy view of the resort is seriously legendary! We heard stories of people waiting for four hours just to get a photo! Crazy, right? But we were smart – we snagged the 12th spot in the queue. We arrived around 1:30 PM, and as expected, there was already a HUGE crowd waiting in the heat.
 
The good thing about Kawayan is they have a strict first-come, first-served system, and they only allow a limited number of visitors at a time. Each group (solo travelers or larger groups) gets 20 minutes to take photos and enjoy the view. Just imagine how long the line would be if they didn't have this system!
 
So, we waited. For about 45 minutes. But even then, we still had to wait for the groups already inside to finish their 20-minute slots. That added another 30 minutes to our wait. But honestly? Totally worth it.
 
As we finally entered the resort, I was blown away. It's seriously upscale and luxurious! They have stunning rooms, and a gorgeous clubhouse with a beautiful pool that overlooks the vast sea of Siquijor. The whole place is breathtaking.
 
And then… the view. Oh my goodness, the view! It was even more spectacular than the photos suggested. The wait was absolutely justified. The scenery is unbelievably beautiful, and it's one of those moments you just want to freeze in time. Seriously, if you're planning a trip to Siquijor, put Kawayan Holiday Resort on your list. It's a must-see! Just be prepared to wait – but trust me, it's worth every minute.

Tiki Room Adventure: A Surprisingly Fun Disney Break!   Okay, so picture this: we're buzzing from all the Disney magic, ready to tackle some rides. But hold up! The app shows hour-long waits for everything popular. We're not about that life. We need a strategic break, a Disney pit stop if you will.   That's where the Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents "Aloha E KOMO Mai!" swooped in to save the day. Only a 15-minute wait? Sold!
