 SAPA, VIETNAM 2026 – DAY 3 Early Morning Hurdles & Plan B Breakfast 


The day kicked off at 6:30 am sharp – alarm blaring, hot shower on, and ready to tackle whatever Sapa had in store. By 7:30 am, we’d hit the ATM and booked a Grab from Fansipan Sunworld to Viettreking Sapa Hotel, all set for their breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, walk-ins weren’t allowed – a quick reminder to always call ahead when traveling! 

Thankfully, nearby Lado Hotel came to the rescue. While the buffet options were limited, the food was high-quality, and the view of the monorail cutting through the mountain landscape made up for it. We fueled up and enjoyed the crisp morning air before heading back to Hotel Mimosa to rest at 9:30 am. Weather Woes Lead to a Cozy Detour Our original plan was to explore Cat Cat Village, but Sapa had other ideas – bone-chilling cold, strong winds, and thick fog blanketed the area.

With visibility almost zero, we decided to hold off and wait for better weather in the afternoon, opting for a much-needed nap instead. Moana Cafe – Art, Coffee & Mountain Vibes We woke up refreshed at 1:30 pm, freshened up, and set our sights on Moana Cafe. The 20-minute walk from our hotel was worth every step – we paid a 90,000 VND combo fee that included entrance and a free coffee. 

The cafe is a photographer’s dream, with colorful art installations around every corner. We found a covered spot to escape the humidity, sipped our coffee, and snapped countless Instagram-worthy shots. The creative setup perfectly blends art with Sapa’s natural charm. Warm Eats & Sweet Treats to End the Day 


By 5 pm, we were starving, so we headed to nearby Mountain Bar Restaurant. Everything is made to order, and the wait was absolutely worth it – hot, delicious meals that won’t break the bank. We weren’t done yet though - at 6:30 pm, we booked a Grab to Cong Cafe for dessert, where I indulged in a creamy Vietnamese Coconut Mango Dessert that hit all the right spots. By 8 pm, we were back at Hotel Mimosa, ready to wash off the day’s adventures and rest up for what’s next.

Tokyo Disneyland: A Delicious Detour to Eastside Cafe – March 10, 2025   Post-parade, our stomachs were rumbling louder than any rollercoaster. We were starving! The problem? Tiki Room Adventure: A Surprisingly Fun Disney Break!   Okay, so picture this: we're buzzing from all the Disney magic, ready to tackle some rides. But hold up! The app shows hour-long waits for everything popular. We're not about that life. We need a strategic break, a Disney pit stop if you will.   That's where the Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents "Aloha E KOMO Mai!" swooped in to save the day. Only a 15-minute wait? Sold! The Adventureland location was a bonus – a little escape from the main hustle. The waiting area was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seats.
