Day 1 - Centre Hotel Da Nang

Our Da Nang adventure started with a late arrival at the Centre Hotel (around 10 pm!). It's perfectly located – right in the heart of the action, surrounded by foot spas and coffee shops, just east of the Dragon Bridge. We booked it for our 9-day stay, and its central location was a huge plus.
Harris, one of their super friendly staff, greeted us as we hopped out of our Grab car. He whisked our bags away and helped us check in. The 24/7 reception area is gorgeous – modern and bright. They even have a souvenir shop and spa with discounts for hotel guests.

We'd booked three airport rooms, but the last one was on a different floor. Gracia asked if we could all be together (we were a family/friend group), and luckily, they had a vacant room on our floor! Even better, they upgraded me to a Super Deluxe room – score!
Our fifth-floor room was practically next to the elevator – super convenient! Harris showed us in, but the key card was a bit temperamental, so we went old-school with a regular key 🗝️. It was a non-smoking room (smoking rooms are available on each floor).

Opening the door was like a mini-wow moment! The room was huge, spotless, and smelled amazing. A king-size bed with super soft pillows and comforters, a small fridge, a TV with 5000+ free channels (and super-fast 100mbps wifi!), a closet, chairs, a coffee table, and a big mirror. The lighting was a bit basic – one switch for all the lights – but there were two handy reading lights. One thing I noticed was that the smoke detector seemed to be missing. Plenty of power outlets though, which is always a plus!
The bathroom was equally impressive – clean, with a bathtub, a nice sink, a hairdryer, and complimentary toiletries and towels. The hotel has a rooftop, but it was under construction during our stay. Still, the view of the city was incredible!

Our entire stay was just wonderful. The staff were amazing, cleaning our rooms daily, changing beddings and towels, and replenishing toiletries and refreshments. Check-out was a breeze – we handed in our keys, they casually asked if we'd had anything from the bar (we said no!), and we were on our way!
Overall, a fantastic stay at a great location. Highly recommend!
