Siquijor Night Lights: A Backpacker's Paradise at JJ's
 
Siquijor surprised me. I expected quiet beaches and laid-back vibes (and wasn't disappointed!), but the nightlife on San Juan Tourism Road was a delightful unexpected bonus. Our first night culminated in an unforgettable experience at JJ's Backpackers. This isn't your average bar; it's a whole compound!
 
Imagine this: lodges nestled together, the buzz of backpackers mingling with the locals, and a beach-side bar with a stage pulsating with energy. The vibe is electric, a fantastic mix of millennials, Gen Z, and a healthy dose of international travelers. We arrived after a satisfying dinner, paid a modest and affordable 20-peso entrance fee, and were instantly immersed in the lively atmosphere.
 
The crowd was a beautiful blend of friendly faces – gorgeous girls in their party outfits, cute guys, and everyone in between. Two bars kept the cocktails flowing, and little beachside shops offered cheaper drink options. I opted for a piña colada, which was delicious. Finding a table proved a little tricky – most were reserved – but we snagged a vacant one while waiting for the reservation holders to arrive.
 
Around 8 PM, a live band took the stage, and the energy exploded. People spilled onto the dance floor, and we couldn't resist joining the fun. We danced the night away, completely lost in the music and the infectious energy of the crowd. Later, we mingled with some fellow travelers – everyone was incredibly polite and friendly.
 
After finishing our cocktails, it was time to call it a night. We left JJ's Backpackers feeling energized and exhilarated. If you're a party animal visiting Siquijor, JJ's is an absolute must-visit. It's more than just a bar; it's an experience. The combination of the beach setting, the diverse crowd, and the lively atmosphere makes it a truly unique and memorable place.

Tiki Room Adventure: A Surprisingly Fun Disney Break!   Okay, so picture this: we're buzzing from all the Disney magic, ready to tackle some rides. But hold up! The app shows hour-long waits for everything popular. We're not about that life. We need a strategic break, a Disney pit stop if you will.   That's where the Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents "Aloha E KOMO Mai!" swooped in to save the day. Only a 15-minute wait? Sold!
