Siquijor 2025: Day 2 – Salagdoong's Scorching Beauty
 
Okay, so Day Two in Siquijor, 2025, started with a serious case of sun worship. We finally made it to Salagdoong Beach, and let me tell you, the welcome party was…intense. Think blazing sun, almost noon, and the kind of heat that makes you question all your life choices. It was a total 180 from my last visit – gloomy and breezy, remember? This time, it was full-on tropical inferno. But honestly? The beach’s beauty was amplified tenfold under that scorching sun. The turquoise water practically vibrated with brilliance, the white sand gleaming like a million tiny diamonds.
 
We were already pretty cooked from the journey, but the sheer visual feast was enough to kickstart our inner photographers. Cameras came out, phones were prepped, and the usual chaos of a group photo shoot ensued. My travel buddies, bless their hearts, weren't initially thrilled about my insistence on hiking to the Sedimentary Island. They were perfectly content to bask in the sun (or maybe hide from it in the shade), snapping selfies and TikTok videos at every picturesque corner of the main beach area. But I knew, I knew the view from the Sedimentary Island would be worth the effort. And I was right! Once we got there, they were instantly converted. Suddenly, it was a flurry of personal photo shoots, each one trying to capture the breathtaking panorama from their own unique angle. TikTok dances on the edge of the cliff? Check. Selfies with the stunning backdrop? Double check. I swear, they were practically morphing into professional influencers right before my eyes!
 
With the photo extravaganza finally wrapped up, it was time for the main event: a swim in the glorious turquoise water. After all that sun-baking and hiking, a quick dip in the cool ocean was exactly what the doctor ordered. An hour later, feeling refreshed and slightly less crispy, we reluctantly dragged ourselves out of the water. The ocean's embrace was hard to resist, but we had more adventures waiting for us. Salagdoong had delivered, and then some. The heat, the stunning views, the hilarious photo shoot – it was a perfect blend of relaxation and excitement. And honestly, I'm already planning my next trip back!

Tiki Room Adventure: A Surprisingly Fun Disney Break!   Okay, so picture this: we're buzzing from all the Disney magic, ready to tackle some rides. But hold up! The app shows hour-long waits for everything popular. We're not about that life. We need a strategic break, a Disney pit stop if you will.   That's where the Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents "Aloha E KOMO Mai!" swooped in to save the day. Only a 15-minute wait? Sold! The Adventureland location was a bonus – a little escape from the main hustle. The waiting area was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seats.
