Siquijor 2025: Day 1 - From Manila to Island Paradise
 
My Siquijor adventure kicked off bright and early at NAIA Terminal 3. Smart move checking in online – skipped the long queues! First stop? The ATM, because who travels without enough cash? Then it was off to the boarding gate. We lucked out and found a Krispy Kreme – six boxes of donuts later (don't judge!), and a large iced macchiato for me, we were fueled up for the flight. Waiting for boarding time turned into a mini photoshoot; I practically created a whole album dedicated to our Manila departure!
 
Right on schedule, our 8 AM flight soared into the sky. The flight was smooth as silk, and before I knew it, we touched down in Dumaguete around 10 AM. A quick trike ride to the OceanJet ticketing office, and we were on our way to Siquijor. The 3 PM ferry was a relaxing cruise across the calm sea. By 4 PM, we were finally there!
 
Stepping onto Siquijor and seeing that stunning turquoise water… pure bliss! I gave a huge thank you to the heavens for safe travels and perfect weather. Operation Siquijor is officially a GO!

Tokyo Disneyland: A Delicious Detour to Eastside Cafe – March 10, 2025   Post-parade, our stomachs were rumbling louder than any rollercoaster. We were starving! The problem? Disneyland was packed, and every restaurant had a wait time that rivaled the lines for Space Mountain. But our resourceful Ate and Kuya remembered a hidden gem near the entrance: Eastside Cafe.   This table-service restaurant, tucked away in World Bazaar, promised a welcome respite from the park's frenetic energy. World Bazaar, with its early 20th-century Victorian theming, is already a feast for the eyes, and Eastside Cafe perfectly complements the atmosphere. Tiki Room Adventure: A Surprisingly Fun Disney Break!   Okay, so picture this: we're buzzing from all the Disney magic, ready to tackle some rides. But hold up! The app shows hour-long waits for everything popular. We're not about that life. We need a strategic break, a Disney pit stop if you will.   That's where the Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents "Aloha E KOMO Mai!" swooped in to save the day. Only a 15-minute wait? Sold! The Adventureland location was a bonus – a little escape from the main hustle. The waiting area was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seats. They even offered translation devices for non-English speakers – seriously impressed!   Stepping into the Tiki Room felt like entering a mini-theater.
