Tokyo Family Adventure: Day 1 - March 9, 2025
 
So, Tokyo again! This is my second time in this amazing city, but this trip is extra special. It's the first time in ages – probably the second time ever – that my whole family's been on the same continent! We're making the most of it, believe me. This is a trip we've been planning for ages, and the anticipation has been building for months. The countdown is finally over, and the adventure is officially underway!
 
Our journey began bright and early. The alarm clock screamed at 7:00 AM, a sound I usually resent, but today, it was the soundtrack to excitement. We piled into a Grab car – a familiar sight here in the Philippines – for the ride from Cavite to NAIA Terminal 3. The 600-peso fare was a small price to pay for the convenience, especially with all our luggage. The traffic was surprisingly light, and we arrived at the airport by 8:00 AM.
 
The airport buzzed with activity, a symphony of hurried footsteps, rolling suitcases, and the occasional excited shout. First stop: travel tax and bag drop. Smooth sailing so far! Then it was onto immigration. This is where things hit a slight snag. The eTravel QR code processing took longer than expected. There was a bit of a queue, and I could feel that familiar pre-travel anxiety creeping in. But, hey, even minor delays are part of the adventure, right?
 
By 10:00 AM, we were finally through immigration and ready for some much-needed fuel. We grabbed breakfast inside the boarding gate – a delicious beef pares hit the spot! It was a comforting taste of home before embarking on our long journey. After breakfast, we had some time to kill before boarding, so we did what any self-respecting family on a trip would do: we took a million pictures! Airport selfies, group shots, goofy poses – we captured the moment in all its pre-flight glory.
 
Finally, at 12:00 PM, it was time to board our flight. The excitement was palpable. We settled into our seats, buckled up, and gazed out the window as the ground crew prepared the plane for takeoff. At 1:00 PM sharp, we soared into the sky, leaving the Philippines behind and heading towards the neon lights and bustling streets of Narita Airport, Japan.

Tokyo Disneyland: A Delicious Detour to Eastside Cafe – March 10, 2025   Post-parade, our stomachs were rumbling louder than any rollercoaster. We were starving! The problem? Disneyland was packed, and every restaurant had a wait time that rivaled the lines for Space Mountain. But our resourceful Ate and Kuya remembered a hidden gem near the entrance: Eastside Cafe.   This table-service restaurant, tucked away in World Bazaar, promised a welcome respite from the park's frenetic energy. World Bazaar, with its early 20th-century Victorian theming, is already a feast for the eyes, and Eastside Cafe perfectly complements the atmosphere. Tiki Room Adventure: A Surprisingly Fun Disney Break!   Okay, so picture this: we're buzzing from all the Disney magic, ready to tackle some rides. But hold up! The app shows hour-long waits for everything popular. We're not about that life. We need a strategic break, a Disney pit stop if you will.   That's where the Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents "Aloha E KOMO Mai!" swooped in to save the day. Only a 15-minute wait? Sold! The Adventureland location was a bonus – a little escape from the main hustle. The waiting area was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seats. They even offered translation devices for non-English speakers – seriously impressed!   Stepping into the Tiki Room felt like entering a mini-theater.
