Tokyo 2025 – Day 3 – Shibuya – March 11, 2025
 
Okay, so Disneyland was a blast, but Day 3 in Tokyo was all about chill vibes. We learned our lesson about crowds – woke up at 7 am, leisurely breakfast, quick bath, and then we headed out. No crazy train rushes for us! 😎
 
Around 10 am, we hit up the Tsukiji Fish Market (amazing!) and grabbed a Lawson for some Suica card top-ups. Then, it was off to Shibuya from Senkawa around 11 am. After all that Disneyland walking, we needed a relaxed day. The plan was initially to check out a Starbucks Reserve Roastery (I had a specific latte in mind!), but my research was a little off. Turns out, that Starbucks is in Shinjuku, not Shibuya! Oops! Luckily, we had a Shibuya Sky reservation, so we stuck with the Shibuya plan.
 
The train ride from Senkawa to Shibuya was smooth. First stop? The Hachiko statue! Seriously, so many people there, but it's a must-see. Then, we went to a Starbucks (not the Reserve Roastery, sadly!), and since we were in Shibuya, it was the perfect opportunity to look for some Sunny Angels (those adorable little figurines!). Unfortunately, we didn't find any shops selling them that day. Maybe next time!
 
Next up: Shibuya Sky! We had a 1:00 pm reservation booked through Klook, and it was a short walk (~100m) from the department store. Shibuya Scramble has super fast elevators – less than a minute to the top! The observation deck is amazing; tons of shops and souvenir displays. Even though we arrived 50 minutes early, Japanese precision means we had to wait until exactly 1:00 pm for our time slot. But it was worth it!
 
Shibuya Sky is a MUST-DO in Tokyo. Seriously, the view is insane – totally Instagrammable! 🤩 Even with a cloudy (not sunny and hot, thankfully!) day, the view and experience were worth every penny. It's going to look completely different at night, so maybe we'll try that next time!
 
Overall, Day 3 was a huge success. Shibuya is awesome!

Tokyo Disneyland: A Delicious Detour to Eastside Cafe – March 10, 2025   Post-parade, our stomachs were rumbling louder than any rollercoaster. We were starving! The problem? Disneyland was packed, and every restaurant had a wait time that rivaled the lines for Space Mountain. But our resourceful Ate and Kuya remembered a hidden gem near the entrance: Eastside Cafe.   This table-service restaurant, tucked away in World Bazaar, promised a welcome respite from the park's frenetic energy. Tiki Room Adventure: A Surprisingly Fun Disney Break!   Okay, so picture this: we're buzzing from all the Disney magic, ready to tackle some rides. But hold up! The app shows hour-long waits for everything popular. We're not about that life. We need a strategic break, a Disney pit stop if you will.   That's where the Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents "Aloha E KOMO Mai!" swooped in to save the day. Only a 15-minute wait? Sold! The Adventureland location was a bonus – a little escape from the main hustle. The waiting area was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seats. They even offered translation devices for non-English speakers – seriously impressed!   Stepping into the Tiki Room felt like entering a mini-theater.
