Day 4 - Da Nang Travel Diary: Hue's Sunset and a Familiar Comfort in Da Nang

Another day, another adventure! Today was all about saying goodbye to the imperial city of Hue and making our way back to the vibrant coastal city of Da Nang.
Our day started early as we explored the historical wonders of Hue (check out yesterday's blog for all the details!). By 4:30 PM, it was time to head to the Hue terminal and hop on a bus back to Da Nang. Honestly, I was a little sad to leave Hue. Its ancient charm and tranquil atmosphere had really captivated me.



The bus ride turned out to be a highlight in itself. As the sun began to set, we were treated to a breathtaking view of the Hue countryside. Rice paddies stretched out as far as the eye could see, painted in hues of gold and orange by the setting sun. It was a truly magical sight, and I couldn't help but feel grateful for the opportunity to witness such beauty. The ride was almost three hours, but with views like that, it flew by!
We arrived at the Da Nang bus terminal around 7 PM. After quickly booking a Grab, we were on our way back to the familiar sight of Da Nang Cathedral. The pink façade was a welcome sight after a long day of traveling.



By 7:30 PM, our stomachs were rumbling, so the first order of business was finding some dinner. Being a bit tired from the day's adventures, we decided to keep it simple and head back to the same restaurant we enjoyed yesterday. I slurped down a delicious bowl of noodles, and we finished off the meal with a caffeine boost at Brio cafe. Sometimes, the familiar is just what you need!
Finally, around 9 PM, we made our way back to the hotel. Before calling it a night, we took care of a few essentials: paid the taxi driver for our round-trip ticket to Ba Na Hills (excited for that!), ordered some online luggage for delivery tomorrow, and chatted with the receptionist about a few things. After a quick refresh, it was time to hit the hay.



Another day, another set of memories made. Hue was amazing, but it feels good to be back in Da Nang. Stay tuned for tomorrow's adventure to Ba Na Hills! I've heard the views are incredible, and I can't wait to explore.

Tiki Room Adventure: A Surprisingly Fun Disney Break!   Okay, so picture this: we're buzzing from all the Disney magic, ready to tackle some rides. But hold up! The app shows hour-long waits for everything popular. We're not about that life. We need a strategic break, a Disney pit stop if you will.   That's where the Enchanted Tiki Room: Stitch Presents "Aloha E KOMO Mai!" swooped in to save the day. Only a 15-minute wait? Sold! The Adventureland location was a bonus – a little escape from the main hustle. The waiting area was surprisingly spacious, with plenty of seats.
