Day 8 - Da Nang Travel Diary: Da Nang - Senses Restaurant Breakfast Buffet at Satya Hotel
Alright, travel buddies! Day 8 in Da Nang started with a mission: conquer the breakfast buffet at Senses Restaurant in Satya Hotel.
Woke up around 6 AM, just chilled in the room for a bit. By 7 AM, we were ready to roll. Senses Restaurant is just a short walk from where we were staying, which was perfect. It's located inside the Satya Hotel, and even though we weren't staying there, we heard they have an awesome breakfast buffet that's open to the public. Smart business move, right?
The buffet costs 180k VND (around ₱415 PHP). What a steal! And the best part? It's open from 7 AM to 11 AM with no time limit.
We hopped in the elevator and headed to the 2nd floor. Stepping into Senses Restaurant was like entering a chill zone. The place is super aesthetic, clean, and perfectly air-conditioned – a welcome escape from the Da Nang heat. Plus, they have a swimming pool and toilets outside that guests can use. The manager even confirmed we could use the pool, but it was way too hot to even consider it.
When we arrived, there weren't many people there yet. The manager greeted us with the warmest smile. He was so genuinely happy to see us and even asked to take a picture with us! Little did he know the Filipino in me was about to unleash my buffet skills. Just kidding… sort of!
We paid in cash and snagged a table near the pho station. The buffet spread was a mix of Vietnamese and American dishes. As Filipinos, we take buffets seriously. We're all about getting our money's worth! So, you can imagine how many trips we made back and forth to the buffet table. No shame!
Around 10 AM, we headed back to the hotel. I decided to check out the rooftop for a view of Da Nang. The view was amazing, but the sun was scorching! After about 15 minutes, I retreated back to the cool comfort of my room.
Spent the rest of the morning packing up our groceries and souvenirs. Then, took a well-deserved nap. Waking up early for that buffet was totally worth it. I highly recommend Senses Restaurant for a delicious and affordable breakfast buffet in Da Nang!
